Imagine working in a highly productive environment in which you feel safe, respected and valued; the work is challenging; the demands of the job are reasonable; you have work-life balance; and your employer supports your involvement in your work and interpersonal growth and development. This is what is known as a safe and healthy workplace.  

All workers have the right to return home each day safe and sound. Preventing work-related illness and injury is the most important job at any workplace. A safe work environment is a productive one. No matter the size or type of the business, workplace safety procedures are a necessity for all staff. Safety measures protect employees as well as the business, equipment and property.

The Pembina Trails School Division is committed to providing all staff, students, contractors and visitors to its
