Library Learning Commons

Welcome – Bienvenue to our Library Learning Commons and Makerspaces!

Our library learning commons provides a physical and virtual participatory and collaborative learning community – a space to complete concentrated and focused work, to read and learn new things, to search databases while working together to study or create projects such as those provided in makerspaces or designed by teachers in support of curriculum. One of our latest services has been to offer students laptops to use in a portable fashion in the library and in school. In the near future, we will also have breakout rooms providing students and teachers with a creative makerspace and a place to work together providing time to explore, grow, develop understanding and respect each other’s approaches and strengths. We have made available a copy of our blue cardstock Online Research Tools with passwords to each student.
