Big time Olympic congratulations to Shaftesbury grad Skylar Park and Vincent Massey grad Kelsey Wog
Pembina Trails would like to join Winnipeggers, Manitobans and Canadians from across the country in sending heartfelt congratulations to Skylar Park (@SkylarPark99) and Kelsey Wog (@kelseywog) on their performances at the Paris Olympics.
Skylar came home with a bronze medal and Kelsey capped a distinguished international swimming career in Paris.
We are so proud of both of you.
The Olympic Creed perfectly captures Skylar and Kelsey’s respective performances in taekwondo and swimming:
“The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well.”
You both worked so incredibly hard to get to Paris and once there, on the world’s brightest stage, you gave it everything you had. The dedication and sacrifice that you and your families have shown during your Olympic journey is something for which you all deserve a huge amount of credit.
