Kindergarten

École South Pointe School offers half-day Kindergarten. Children either come in the morning or in the afternoon. We do not offer full day Kindergarten. Families can indicate their preference for morning or afternoon on the registration form; however, we cannot guarantee that you will get your choice. 

Kindergarten is offered to children who will turn five (5) years old by December 31st of that school year. Children eligible for Kindergarten for 2022-23 were born in 2017.

Morning Kindergarten is from 8:40-11:35am

Afternoon Kindergarten is from 12:35-3:25pm

The drop off and pick up doors for Kindergarten are called the Garden doors and are located at the rear of the school close to the daycare side of the building (the lake side of the school at the back). Families are responsible for dropping off and picking up their children at those doors.

Families needing child care or day care services need to coordinate that on their own. The school does not provide childcare for the other half of the school day. The daycare located in the school is owned and operated by K.I.D.S Inc. (kidsincorporated.ca) who have their own wait list. Contact the daycare or check their website for more information.

Only children who live in the South Pointe catchment are eligible to attend École South Pointe School. Use the School Locator tool to determine your catchment area school.
