Hockey Skills Academy

The hockey program includes a co-ed hockey skills academy and male and female high school hockey league teams.

Shaftesbury is the only school in Pembina Trails to offer a hockey skills academy for high school credit. The program is certified by Hockey Skills Canada and is run by coaches who are also teachers at the school. The hockey skills academy allows students to improve upon their individual skills and their enjoyment of the game. The course is open to beginners and advanced players, male and female and is intended for students who want to participate in hockey-specific skill development training in order to improve their game and to advance their knowledge and fitness levels.
