Curriculum

At Beaverlodge School our classroom instruction and programs including music, physical education, French, etc. promote learning opportunities with a focus on academic and social development. We loop most of our students so that our teachers may have two full school years to develop a strong working relationship with children.

Students have access to an outdoor classroom where artistic, scientific, mathematical and literacy lessons take place. Located in the forest, students watch plants grow and change, problem-solve and learn Earth stewardship.

We offer a rich variety of extracurricular and enrichment activities including: Maker Space Activities, Senior Buddies, Earth Council, Bioblitz, Green Kitchen, Outdoor Education opportunities, Jump Rope Club, BOK and various other clubs before school, during lunch and after school.

All of our kindergarten to grade 5 students have a wealth of opportunities to participate in life at school!
