Volleyball

Students at VW have the opportunity to participate in volleyball practices and divisional games in September-November. Each student has participated in placement practices and has been tentatively assigned to a team. For the first two weeks, practices will be schedule and posted on the calendar outside of the gym. Once the divisional game schedule has been released, a full schedule for the entire season, including tournaments, will be sent out to facilitate your planning. You can expect one practice and one game weekly. Each team will be registered in one tournament at some point in the season.

Transportation to and from games is provided by parents. Coaches will not be providing transportation to or from games. Please arrange this well ahead of games.

There is a $30 fee for participation in Volleyball to offset the cost of a wind up, referees, tournaments, etc… Please include this fee with the permission form when it is returned. Cash or cheque are accepted.

Schedules for the season are given to students at school, but the info is also posted on the school calendar. You are even able to subscribe to the calendar for your childs' team! Feel free to reach out for more info on this feature if you require to Leslie Duhamel at lduhamel@pembinatrails.ca.
