MITT
The Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) offers students the opportunity to take Level I skilled trades certification while completing their compulsory courses at Oak Park. Students apply in either their Grade 10 or Grade 11 academic year and attend MITT in the afternoon during their first year and in the morning their second year. Students in Grade 9 and Grade 10 are not eligible to attend MITT. All credits earned are deemed optional credits and are used in the calculation towards high school graduation requirements. If you are interested in attending MITT for free in any of the following programs while at Oak Park, please contact a guidance counsellor.
