About Us

Chancellor School is a community-based school with an enrolment of approximately 460 K-6 students located in the Waverley Heights community of south Fort Garry. The school reflects the rich diversity of the community and is located in a quiet residential setting.

There is a school-wide emphasis on literacy, numeracy and citizenship. Teachers strive to create engaging and rich learning experiences in response to the diversity of student learning needs.

Staff have a strong commitment to prepare and support students to be active and responsible citizens, respectful of others and accepting of the diversity in our community.
