Star Blanket project: Reconciliation in Action

5CS are working towards Reconciliation as they learn more about Indigenous cultures. They have been learning about the Indigenous Star Blanket by creating their own classroom quilt. Students learned about the significance of the Star Blanket. They have been exploring the interconnectedness to life that has been passed on generation to generation through.  Students applied pattern and used earth colours on their blankets and are working to apply these teachings in their classroom community.
