Pembina Trails International Student Program has won a prestigious industry award
Our Pembina Trails International Student Program has recently won a prestigious industry award. The program was nominated by agents from all over the world in the industry of international education. This is the first time a program from Manitoba has ever been nominated for this highly recognized global award. It was an honour to have been nominated.
Tess Cordeiro our Director of ISP was advised of the nomination in February 2023, and informed in March 2023 that Pembina Trails was listed as a Finalist for the award of Best School Board Program in Canada. There were six finalists. The award is granted to a popular program based on excellence in quality and service. On the evening of April 21st in London, England, at an industry event attended by over 1,000 people, Pembina Trails was proclaimed the winner of this prestigious industry award. Tess Cordeiro our ISP Director proudly accepted the award on behalf of the Pembina Trails School Division International Student Program.
A number of interviews and photographs have been featured in the industry magazine to celebrate the award recipients. The entire ISP team greatly appreciates the continuous support and collaboration from the committed school staff on the ground, the school administrators and the SAT leadership team who all helped position us for this award.
From Tess Cordeiro:
“It was an honour to accept the award for work that is so meaningful. The good work we do together shepherding these students through such a unique experience positions us to break down cultural barriers and create more global citizens. The Pembina Trails School Division has been hosting students for over 30 years. The success of the program comes with a dedicated and committed team who work wholeheartedly to enrich the experience of every student. At this time I would like to recognize all those who have contributed to the success of this program over the years. Thank you also to our agents for sharing the vision of the Pembina Trails School Division. We greatly appreciate your collaboration, your professionalism and your trust in us and we look forward to continuing on the journey with you. In this industry we all do good and valuable work. Thank you also to ST Alphe for creating opportunities to recognise the commitment and contributions of those in the industry."
